    Will you buy my second hand books?

    Wize Books do not buy your textbooks from you - WE SELL THEM ON YOUR BEHALF, taking merely a R20 commission per book if and when we manage to sell it.

    The process entails:

    1. Bring your books to the Wize Books second hand department as soon as the new semester starts or the week before the new semester starts.
    2. Please only bring books that are still in-use or prescribed
    3. The friendly Wize Book employee will assist to you to determine a suitable selling price for each of your books based on the condition of the books. The price remains your decision.
    4. Once all your books are booked in with a price YOU are happy with, we will provide you with a Book-In voucher - You need to keep this safe in order to collect your money later on.
    5. Wize Books will keep your books in our store, looking after them and actively trying to sell them for you - we have over 2000 students visiting our shop daily so it might sell even a couple of minutes after being booked in.
    6. If one/all of your books are sold you will receive an sms, notifying you when the next pay-out will be for you to bring you Book-In Voucher along to Wize Books to receive your MOOLA. You will however need to collect your money in person and you need to come during the specified hours that will be stipulated in the sms.
    7. Wize Books take a R20 commission per book.
    8. If one of your books do not sell and or is no longer prescribed at the University of Pretoria, we will notify you via sms to collect your books. If you do not collect the books within 2 weeks, they will be donated.

    Can I speak to someone who is of the same species as I am, aka Human?

    My email address has changed. How do I update my account?

    You log in with your current email address and password. Once you're logged in, click on "My Account" in the middle of the header. Next click on the edit tab underneath "Account Information" and then BOOM!! Bob's your uncle.

    What do I do if I forgot my login password?

    Simply click on the “Forgot password” link at the bottom of the screen. Next you just enter your email address in the text field, then press enter. Shortly after you’ll receive an email with a link to reset your password.

    I can’t find your store, where are you guys?

    Simply click on the "Store Locator" link located on the header at the top of the page. Once you’ve clicked, a new page will load and you’ll find a map in the middle of the screen showing our location. Our physical address is 209 Roper Street. We are located right across the main entrance of the University of Pretoria on the corner of Lynnwood road and Roper street.

    I need this one book and I NEED it now!! What can I do?

    We have a Ferrari like office, so we’ll find that book in no time and give it to you ASAP! So phone us on 012 362 5885 or you can email us at enquiries@wizebooks.co.za. Or you can come into the shop and order it over the desk.

    What can I do if I can’t find the title or course code?

    Simply phone us on 012 362 5885 or email us on enquiries@wizebooks.co.za and we’ll help you as speedily possible.

    How can I find a quote for my books?

    If you need a detailed list of your books and their prices, email us the names of your books along with the course/module code (if possible) to enquiries@wizebooks.co.za and we’ll email you the quotation.

    We take the security of our client’s payments and personal information very seriously. No worries.

    Simply click the "Add to Cart" button beneath the item(s) you want to order. Then "Check Out" from your shopping cart, when you are done shopping. You will be guided to the Checkout Page. For a detailed guide - click on the “Online Ordering Process” link under Information at the very bottom of the page. Yup we’re cool like that.

    How can I find out what the status is on my order?

    Log onto Wize Books website. Click on the “Track My Order” link. Enter the tracking number provided by the courier company (received via email). Click on “Track” and the status of your order will be displayed.

    How long do I have to wait before I receive my order?

    The duration will depend on whether our suppliers have stock or not. If they have the items in stock, it will take approximately 2-5 days (Local supplier) or 7-10 days (International supplier). It may take longer if we have to source the item when our suppliers are out of stock or if the item is not available anymore. But rest assured, we will do everything we can to have it at your door, like yesterday.

    Do Wize Books sell academic books only?

    We can find any book under the sun. In store we only sell academic handbooks. But if you’re looking for a good cook book or a nice story book for leisure, we’ll find it for you. Now that’s awesome!!
    We also sell other products apart from books, like; calculators, USBs, Lab coats and Clickers.

    Will you deliver to my doorstep?

    Local: We will INDEED! Purchases with a value of over R1000 even has FREE delivery.

    Your eBook will be available in both PDF and ePub format.

    On which devices can my eBook be accessed?

    You only need a PC, Laptop, Tablet or a handheld device. The eBook can be displayed on both Apple and Android products. Easy as pie.

    How do I download the eBook that I have purchased?

    If you have already paid for your eBook, you will receive a link via email from Wize Books. Open this link and download your eBook. No Probs.

    Can I print the eBook that I’ve downloaded?

    The eBooks are protected, so you will neither be able to print them nor distribute them.

    Can I be refunded on any eBooks that I purchased?

    No, we do not give any refunds on eBooks. If however there is a problem with the eBook, you can email us the problem details to enquiries@wizebooks.co.za and we’ll work our MAGIC.
