Description
The series of workbooks of Funksionele Taalgebruik for Afrikaans First Additional Language Use (Grades 6 to 12) contains only language structures and exercises to ensure that the learner fully understands the grammer. The series provides ample opportunity for capturing new language patterns because there are enough exercises for the learner to apply the grammar. The books gradually make the learners accustomed to the integration of different language structures because each chapter covers a different language structure - with grammar rules - and practice afterwards. After every four or five chapters, a revision test follows in which the previous work is integrated. In the workbooks for Grades 6 and 7, all the grammar is explained in English which makes it easier for the younger learner to understand. For Grades 8 to 12, the explanation is in Afrikaans.
